MS3100
Wall-mount receptacle
Flange-mounted equipment interface; class and rear arrangement remain critical.
Threaded standard circular power and signal interfaces
A procurement-focused page for cross-referencing MS310x and commercial 97-style connector families without treating the standard number as a complete specification.

Quick Answer
Yes. Tradin Connect can review MIL-DTL-5015 and 5015-style circular connector requirements for compatible alternative sourcing. The quotation is built from the complete MS or commercial number, shell style, insert arrangement, contact configuration, class, mating half and cable-side requirements.
Model Architecture
Use the style code to orient the discussion—not to complete a missing part number. Every remaining segment still needs verification.
MS3100
Flange-mounted equipment interface; class and rear arrangement remain critical.
MS3101
Cable-to-cable or in-line receptacle reference family.
MS3102
Short rear profile family; confirm termination and environmental needs.
MS3106
Common cable plug reference; never quote from MS3106 alone.
MS3108
Right-angle cable exit for constrained installations.
97-310x style
Useful for cross-reference work, but commercial naming does not establish MIL qualification.

Selection Guide
This is the practical information procurement and engineering teams need to reduce cross-reference risk.

Representative Form Factors
The model family identifies the broad installation form—wall mount, box mount, straight plug or 90-degree plug—but class, insert, contact and rotation codes still control the final configuration.
Beyond One Connector
Our value is not simply offering a lower-cost connector. We organize the connector, mating half, contacts, rear accessories, shielding, sealing and cable protection around one reviewed BOM.
Send Your BOMWe can start from an MS, commercial, drawing, photo or equipment BOM reference.
Contact arrangement and wire requirements are reviewed together instead of assuming a generic pin count.
Straight, 90-degree and receptacle-side cable requirements can be included in the alternative review.
The goal is a documented compatible option and lower total sourcing friction—not a claim of original-brand identity.

Model-family structure was checked against manufacturer technical catalogs and the existing Tradin Connect catalog. The page deliberately avoids unverified qualification, performance, stock, lead-time and customer-use claims. Final quoted specifications still require document review.
Technical Sources
Manufacturer catalogs describe the reference families; they do not prove that an alternative has identical performance or qualification.
Question & Answer
Concise answers for buyers, distributors, harness makers and engineers. Exact compatibility, documentation and qualification are still confirmed against the quoted item.
MS3100 is a wall-mount receptacle family, MS3102 is a box-mount receptacle family, and MS3106 is a straight-plug family. The remaining part-number segments still determine class, shell, insert and contacts.
We can review a cross reference, but a 97-style commercial reference is not automatically the same as a qualified MIL product. The mating dimensions, insert, contacts, class, material, finish and application requirements must be confirmed.
A photo can start the process, especially if it shows the face, coupling and marking, but a complete number, mating half or dimensional drawing is normally needed before a dependable quotation.
Sample and small-batch requests can be reviewed as part of the project. Availability, quantity and validation conditions are confirmed in the quotation rather than promised generically.
No blanket claim should be made. A compatible option is evaluated against documented interface and application requirements, and the customer must approve the validation plan for the intended use.
